Project Manager - Commercial Construction

Company Overview

REZ Management LLC is a premium commercial general contractor headquartered in Idaho with a fully remote workforce supporting projects across the United States. Since 2002, REZ has delivered remodels, tenant improvements, facilities services, and ground-up commercial construction projects in 26 states for clients in retail, restaurant/QSR, medical, office, industrial, and specialty sectors.

Our reputation is built on integrity-driven execution, proactive communication, and hands-on project leadership from planning through closeout. Every project is led by experienced in-house Project Managers and Superintendents, ensuring consistent quality and accountability nationwide.

The Opportunity

As a Commercial Construction Project Manager at REZ Management, you will take full ownership of ground-up commercial and major remodel projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will lead the schedule, budget, subcontractor team, and client communication while ensuring that every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the high standards our clients expect.

This is a remote role based in the U.S. with travel to job sites as needed. You will work closely with an experienced, collaborative operations team while managing projects across multiple locations, giving you the autonomy to lead and the support to succeed.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage ground-up commercial construction and large-scale remodel projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Coordinate project teams, including superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and consultants to keep work aligned and on schedule.
  • Own project schedules, budgets, job cost tracking, and change orders to deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong professional relationships through proactive, clear communication.
  • Oversee field production, monitor progress against milestones, and travel to job sites as needed to support field teams and maintain momentum.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, RFIs, submittals, and reporting using Procore and internal systems.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies on every project.

What Success Looks Like

  • Within your first 6–12 months, you are independently leading multiple commercial projects in different locations, each tracking to or ahead of schedule and budget.
  • Clients, superintendents, and subcontractors consistently describe you as responsive, prepared, and solutions-oriented.
  • Project documentation, job cost reports, and change orders are accurate, timely, and align with REZ standards and client expectations.
  • Job sites you oversee meet safety expectations, quality standards, and key milestones without unnecessary rework or delays.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–7+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects, including proven ground-up project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, including sitework, foundations, structural systems, and building envelope.
  • Hands-on experience managing subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and change orders, with the confidence to resolve issues quickly.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications, and to make sound field and office decisions.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction project management systems, and comfort working independently in a remote environment.
  • Clear, direct communication style and the leadership presence to guide field teams, coordinate with design partners, and manage client expectations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field is preferred, and experienced tradespeople or field leaders with strong project management experience are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

  • National projects with a stable, experienced team and strong operational support.
  • Opportunity to lead meaningful commercial projects across multiple industries with integrity-driven leadership.
  • Remote role (U.S.) with travel to job sites as needed.

How to Apply

If you are a commercial construction professional who takes pride in leading projects from bare ground to final completion, submit your resume through this posting. Be prepared to provide professional references during the interview process.
