The Concrete Carpenter will perform various carpentry tasks, working closely with others and under a Foreman's supervision to complete building projects. Tasks include erecting and setting forms for concrete structures such as foundations, buildings, and site work, including tilt-up panels, forms for columns, decks, and other cast-in-place structures.
Responsibilities involve fabricating and assembling tilt-up panels, forming footings and structural elements, installing embedded items, assisting with layout, stripping forms after pouring, and maintaining tools.
Requirements include the ability to read construction drawings, physical strength and stamina, knowledge of tilt-up panels (preferred), a valid driver’s license, basic hand tools, and OSHA certification or willingness to obtain.
Working conditions are outdoors in various environments, with the ability to lift at least 50 lbs., and weekend work may be required.
