Commercial Carpenter Needed - Michigan City, IN
Pay: $25-$27/hr DOE
No Per Diem Available
Trade Management, a Peoplelink Group Company, is currently hiring experienced Commercial Carpenters for commercial construction projects in the Michigan City, Indiana area.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of commercial carpentry experience
- Experience with metal framing and stick framing required
- OSHA 10 Certification required
- Commercial construction experience required
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass E-Verify
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
Responsibilities:
- Install and assemble metal stud framing and stick framing systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Measure, cut, and install framing materials accurately
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment
- Follow OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
- Work effectively with supervisors and other trades onsite
