Commercial Business Developer

Disaster Restoration Industry | Statewide Connecticut Territory

Commercial Relationships | Business Development | Large Loss | Strategic Growth

We are seeking a high-energy, relationship-driven Commercial Business Developer to help grow our commercial restoration division throughout the state of Connecticut. This role will focus heavily on developing and maintaining relationships with facility managers, commercial property managers, multi-family ownership groups, healthcare facilities, municipalities, and other commercial decision-makers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives on relationship-building, networking, and creating long-term strategic partnerships within the commercial restoration and property management industries.

The candidate may live anywhere within Connecticut and will manage a statewide territory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with:
    • Facility managers
    • Commercial property managers
    • Multi-family ownership and management groups
    • Healthcare facilities and hospital systems
    • Municipalities and government entities
    • Industrial and manufacturing facilities
    • Insurance adjusters and brokers
    • Commercial referral partners
  • Generate new commercial restoration opportunities including:
    • Water damage
    • Fire and smoke losses
    • Mold remediation
    • Large loss and catastrophe response
    • Reconstruction services
    • Emergency response agreements
  • Conduct regular in-person meetings, networking events, lunches, presentations, and property visits
  • Build strategic partnerships with commercial clients and referral sources throughout Connecticut
  • Collaborate closely with operations and project management teams to ensure excellent customer experience
  • Maintain CRM activity, pipeline reporting, and sales forecasting
  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies focused on long-term commercial account development
  • Participate in industry associations, trade events, BOMA events, IFMA events, healthcare associations, and local networking opportunities
  • Help position the company as a preferred commercial restoration partner throughout the region

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of business development or commercial sales experience preferred
  • Restoration, construction, facility services, or property management industry experience strongly preferred
  • Existing relationships with commercial property managers, facility managers, healthcare systems, or municipalities highly preferred
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently across a large territory
  • Professional, polished, and customer-focused approach
  • CRM and pipeline management experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
