Job Details

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build custom industrial equipment and systems in a fabrication shop environment, not repetitive production work
  • Perform multi-process welding (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core) across carbon steel, stainless, and alloys
  • Execute precision, code-quality welds that meet visual and X-ray inspection standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols to independently lay out and assemble projects
  • Fit, tack, and weld components for tanks, vessels, and piping systems used in heavy industrial applications
  • Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, torches, and layout tools to complete full builds
  • Work on high-spec, project-based fabrication, where quality and craftsmanship actually matter

What You Need to Bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on welding in a fabrication or industrial shop
  • Strong experience with multiple welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick, FCAW)
  • Proven ability to produce clean, structurally sound welds that can pass inspection (X-ray / code-level preferred)
  • Ability to read blueprints and fit your own work, not just weld prepped parts
  • Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloys
  • Background in pressure vessels, tanks, piping, or heavy structural fabrication is a major plus
  • High level of independence, you can take a print and run with it without constant direction
