General Description

This position will be located at the WCJC Richmond Campus.

The College Recruiter serves as a student recruiter and will assist with all aspects of prospective student outreach and engagement. The College Recruiter must serve as an exemplary representative of Wharton County Junior College (WCJC) at community outreach events, and seek to provide a welcoming and engaging initial experience for prospective students.

Requirements

This position requires a minimum of bachelors degree from an accredited institution. This position requires skills in communication and engaging with students and/or adult learners. This position requires computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with database information. The individual in this position must have excellent organizational skills. The person in this position must be able to provide continuous courteous customer service to students, parents, the community, staff, and administration. A criminal background check is also required.

Nine month employees may accrue 13.50 days per year

Twelve month employees may accrue 18.50 days per year

Vacation Days

Twelve month employees who work 40 hours per week for 12 months - 12 vacation days per year
