Collaborating Physician MD/DO

Korzen Health is partnering with one of the largest behavioral healthcare groups in Alabama. Due to continued growth and expansion of services, we are seeking a Collaborating Physician (MD/DO) to support outpatient-based Nurse Practitioners.

This organization is headquartered in Montgomery, AL, with clinics throughout the state, and also provides inpatient services within hospital-based psychiatric facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide collaborative oversight to Nurse Practitioners in accordance with state regulations
• Maintain availability for required consultations
• Estimated time commitment: 2–5 hours per month

Qualifications

• Must reside and actively practice in the state of Alabama
• Conform to requirements for licensing, credentialing, and collaboration as required by Alabama law
• Must be responsive and able to assist with timely updates to CAQH profiles for credentialing submissions
• Must be Board Certified.

Compensation & Benefits

• Paid per Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
• Monthly stipend of $1,000 per APP
• 1099 independent contractor position

Work Location

• Remote role; however, candidate must be physically located in Alabama
