Build with purpose
Help fabricate pressure-rated equipment that meets customer specifications and the rigor of ASME Section VIII, Division 1. Your mastery of FCAW with back-gouging and your commitment to safety and quality will keep projects moving efficiently and inspection-ready.
Your impact
- Deliver welds that meet customer specs, applicable code, and accepted industry standards
- Apply Flux-Cored techniques with emphasis on back-gouging accuracy
- Adhere to all safety policies and maintain efficient work practices
- Record labor accurately and consistently
- Prepare and clean sections for inspection approval
- Care for and maintain company tools
- Coordinate daily with the Plant Foreman and Assigned Fitter
- Collaborate with the Internal Quality Control Manager; respond to customer site inspectors and the Authorized Inspector
- Operate with limited supervision; manage time to achieve on-time, defect-free results
- Complete required project paperwork and documentation promptly
What sets you up for success
- Successful completion of Mason’s weld test
- Ability to earn and maintain required production weld certifications
- 3+ years of vessel fabrication experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Section VIII, Division 1 (preferred)
- Precise blueprint reading and interpretation
- Team-first mindset, dependable, and punctual
