Coatings Manufacturing Technician

Hiring Immediately — Temple, TX

Starting pay: $19.48 + $1.00 shift differential

Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:15 pm

A day in this role

You clock in a few minutes before 2:00 pm, review safety notes, and start up the mixing equipment. You’ll blend and fill batches of paint to spec, run quality checks along the way, and document every step to keep production running smoothly. Between batches, you’ll help teammates with safe material moves by forklift and support EHS best practices around the plant. By the time 10:15 pm arrives, you’ve helped make sure customers get the right product, right on time.

What you’ll do

• Follow all safety rules, processes, and procedures without exception.
• Keep accurate records, certifications, and permits up to date.
• Operate production equipment to mix and fill paint batches.
• Perform quality audits, checks, and tests to maintain standards.
• Assist with EHS compliance and support other plant areas as needed.

What you bring

• 18+ years of age.
• Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Mechanical aptitude (a plus).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs routinely and up to 80 lbs infrequently.
• Comfort following detailed instructions and documenting progress.
• Safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Team-first mindset and ownership of assigned responsibilities.
