Summary:
Applies organic coatings to meet corrosion protection and appearance requirements using brush, roll, and spray application methods.
Performs organic chemical conversion and paint preparation for flight hardware.
Reads and interprets engineering drawings and process work instructions to align work with engineering intent.
Performs vacuum bonding of Thermal Protective Systems on flight hardware.
Performs mechanical bonding of Thermal Protective Systems on flight hardware.
Applies Thermal Protective Systems through spray application methods.
Applies Thermal Protective Systems through pour application methods.
Interprets drawings and process documents for coating and bonding operations.
Follows assigned safety guidelines and procedures for hazardous materials handling.
Works with vacuum and mechanical bonding techniques for thermal protection systems.
Requirements:
Ability to Obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience interpreting engineering drawings and process work instructions.
Experience applying organic coatings using brush, roll, and spray methods.
Experience with organic chemical conversion and paint preparation processes.
Experience with vacuum and mechanical bonding of Thermal Protective Systems.
Experience applying Thermal Protective Systems using spray and pour methods.
Ability to follow hazardous materials handling and safety procedures per Government regulations.
