The National Center for Child Welfare Excellence, Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College through an exciting partnership with New York City Administration for Children Services (ACS) will develop, implement, and evaluate transfer of learning strategies for the ACS's Office of Training and Workforce Development (OTWD). ACS's OTWD is a state-of-the-art professional development institute that deepens knowledge, strengthens skills, and provides support to child welfare and juvenile justice staff as they strengthen and support New York City's children, youth, and families. OTWD offers professional learning initiatives that move beyond the classroom to enhance skill development for new and seasoned ACS and provider agency staff, including leadership development.
Through the partnership between the Silberman School of Social Work and ACS, the Coach will join a dynamic team responsible for the ongoing implementation of coaching programming. Reporting to Silberman leadership, the Coach will work closely with ACS leadership to support the integration of coaching into supervisory practices. The Coach will collaborate with team members and be based on-site at the ACS Division of Youth and Family Justice.
