Requirements and Qualifications
Current CPRAED Certification First Aid Card Coaching Certificate Concussion Certificate Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate and knowledge of adolescent psychology required. Valid TB test Fingerprint clearance Keenan course completions and all other RJUHSD mandated certificates. All coach clearance certifications and requirements as stated on the RJUHSD website. Please note First Aid and CPRAED must be hands on training course we do not accept on-line courses. Previous softball playing and/or coaching experience high school or higher preferred. Knowledge of softball fundamentals rules and safety practices. Ability to teach and motivate student-athletes at the developmental level. Strong organizational communication and leadership skills. Commitment to educational athletics and student-athlete well-being.

Antelope High School is seeking a qualified and motivated Head Junior Varsity JV Softball Coach to lead and develop our JV softball program. The Head JV Coach plays a critical role in athlete development, program culture, and preparation of student-athletes for future success at the varsity level. This position works collaboratively with the Head Varsity Softball Coach and Athletic Department to support a positive competitive and educational athletic experience.
