Requirements / Qualifications
Current CPR/AED Certification, First Aid Card, Coaching Certificate, NFHS Concussion Certificate, NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate, NFHS Heat Illness Certificate and knowledge of adolescent psychology required. Valid TB test, Fingerprint clearance, Keenan course completions, and all other RJUHSD mandated certificates. All coach clearance certifications and requirements as stated on the RJUHSD website. Please note: First Aid and CPR/AED must be a hand s on training course, we do not accept on-line courses.
Prior coaching experience at the high school or competitive level preferred. Knowledge of Football techniques and knowledge of NFHS Football Rules. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will work under the direction of the Varsity Head Football Coach to foster school pride, promote positive sportsmanship, and cultivate a culture of excellence, accountability, and inclusivity within the program.
