The position is for an Assistant Cross Country Track Coach at Blacksburg Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year.
Under the supervision of the Athletic Director and Principal, the coach will develop a program emphasizing fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship while ensuring athlete safety and academic eligibility.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, age 21 or older, completion of VHSL courses, effective communication skills, dependability, and punctuality.
Preferred qualifications are coaching or athletic participation experience and current CPR certification.
Compensation ranges from $1,401.75 to $2,037.06 per season.
