Job Title: C# .Net / Python Developer

Duration: 18 Months

Location: NYC

Required Pay Scale: $65-68/hour

Job Summary:

Hands on C# developer who can also code in Python and has experience using GenAI tools such as CoPilot and Claude. Unique experience for someone who work on research team and work with large data sets. This person will be creating custom benchmarks and managing workflows and databases for credit strategy team.

Ongoing projects, working between tech and research team. Will need to translate Research terminology into clear and concise requirements with the goal of providing technology solutions to meet user need.

• C#
• .Net
• Python (ability to code)
• GenAI tools (Claude / CoPilot)
• Does NOT need to be senior but needs to be polished and be able to work independently
• STRONG communication
• SQL for data retrieval and handling heavy data sets

The candidate will be embedded in the Research Department supporting the Credit Strategy teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, an understanding of Fixed Income products and the ability to translate Research terminology into clear and concise requirements with the goal of providing technology solutions to meet user need.

The successful candidate needs to be an experienced C#.net developer familiar with agile development methodologies and tools for requirements gathering and code management.

Responsibilities include:

• Building new market data feeds and maintaining automated release procedures.
• Proficient in database design supporting complex SQL data retrieval and data management techniques.
• Developing cutting-edge processes and workflows for data automation including calculations.
• Support initially maintaining existing legacy workflows using Excel VBA, VB and C#.NET
• Establish a plan to adopt industry standard data processing pipelines that supports all the business requirements while adhering to the firms security standards.

The candidate should also be actively getting updated with the latest in technology as the research team needs to adapt their processes in response to new market and technology trends.

Experienced C#.net developer familiar with agile development methodologies and tools for requirements gathering and code management.

Expert on

• Excel, VBA, VB and C#.Net, Visual Studio

Python

GenAI tools

• Microsoft SQL
• Knowledge of SFTP, FTP
• Handling of heavy datasets
