CNC Team Lead
Trillium Staffing is seeking a CNC Machine Team Lead for a direct hire opportunity in Kiel, WI.
Schedule is 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Pay rate is $30.00 – $34.00/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate CNC machines (lathe-focused)
- Read and interpret blueprints, models, and specifications
- Create and modify CNC programs
- Inspect machined parts to ensure customer specifications are met
- Complete and maintain production and inspection records in ERP
- Identify and report defects, material issues, or process concerns
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Team Lead Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain tooling, fixtures, and setup resources
- Support programming and machining strategy improvements
- Participate in daily scheduling and production planning
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Planner to meet production goals
- Assist Engineering with quoting and process development
- Train and mentor new and current employees
- Serve as a technical resource to support team performance and efficiency
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Heated and ventilated production floor
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Use of hands for machine operation and inspection
- Required use of PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe boots)

Qualifications
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a machine shop environment
- Lathe experience is required
- Programming experience required
- Experience with ERP systems such as ProShop is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Solid math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements)
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
