Career Strategy Consultants is seeking a CNC Supervisor for a growing manufacturing organization in the Dallas, TX area. This leadership position is responsible for supervising daily CNC production operations while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery goals are consistently achieved.

The ideal candidate is an experienced manufacturing leader with a strong background in CNC machining, employee development, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Production Leadership

  • Supervise daily operations of the CNC department to meet production schedules and operational goals.
  • Coordinate workflow to maximize machine utilization and production throughput.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, equipment performance, and housekeeping standards.
  • Assist with machine adjustments and material requirements to ensure accurate CNC operation.
Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop CNC operators and production personnel.
  • Coordinate employee training with an emphasis on developing less experienced team members.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Participate in interviewing and hiring new employees.
  • Address employee relations matters and administer disciplinary action when appropriate.
Scheduling & Operations

  • Develop and adjust work schedules to meet production demands.
  • Monitor employee time and attendance while coordinating payroll discrepancies as needed.
  • Participate in production and departmental meetings.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the CNC operation.
Safety & Quality

  • Promote and enforce ISO 9001 quality standards throughout the department.
  • Ensure all employees follow established safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Encourage employee involvement in identifying and resolving safety concerns.
  • Model safe work practices and maintain compliance with company safety policies.
Qualifications

Required

  • Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Working knowledge of HAAS CNC machine tooling and machining specifications.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 quality standards and their application within manufacturing operations.
  • Experience supervising or leading manufacturing employees.
  • Ability to fabricate metal extrusions using CNC equipment.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
