CNC Operators & CNC Setup Technicians (Programming Experience Preferred)
Fresno, CA | $18.00 – $30.00/hr DOE | Full-Time | Monday – Friday, Day Shift

Hire Up Staffing is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Fresno that is actively hiring both CNC Operators and CNC Setup Technicians. These positions support production on CNC Mills and Lathes using Fanuc-based operating systems. Candidates must have at least 2 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.

We are looking for reliable individuals who take pride in precision, consistency, and maintaining high production standards.

Position 1: CNC Operator
CNC Operators will be responsible for running machines, maintaining production quality, and ensuring parts meet specifications.

Responsibilities:
Operate CNC Mills and Lathes according to established production processes.
Load materials and verify correct machine setup before production runs.
Monitor machine operations and make minor adjustments to maintain quality.
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Follow work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety standards.
Report machine issues or inconsistencies to supervisors or setup technicians.

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of CNC machine operating experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
Ability to read blueprints and understand machining specifications.
Experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Dependable work history and punctual attendance.

Position 2: CNC Setup Technician / Programmer
CNC Setup Technicians are responsible for preparing machines for production, troubleshooting issues, and performing basic CNC programming.

Responsibilities:
Set up CNC Mills and Lathes including installing tooling, fixtures, and offsets.
Load, edit, and verify CNC programs using Fanuc-based controls.
Perform first-piece inspections and test runs to confirm accuracy.
Troubleshoot setup issues and adjust programs or machine parameters as needed.
Assist operators during production runs to maintain efficiency and quality.
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and machining specifications.
Use precision measuring tools to confirm part tolerances.
Support basic CNC programming and modifications to existing programs.

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of CNC setup experience in a machine shop environment.
Experience with CNC Mills and Lathes.
Working knowledge of Fanuc controls and G-code programming.
Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and adjust setups.
Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.
Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.

Schedule & Pay
Pay: $18.00 – $30.00 per hour depending on experience.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
Full-time with long-term career potential.
