CNC Process Technician, Mills and Lathes

Express Employment Professionals is searching for a CNC pro in Irwin, PA who’s ready to own the setup process, ensure first-article success, and mentor others on the line.

Imagine walking up to your station: the next job’s queued, fixtures ready. You change over the setup, dial in tooling, run the first piece, confirm the dimensions, and hand off a stable process—so production moves with confidence.

Role highlights

• Lead tooling setups and fixture changeovers
• Run and inspect first-article parts; document results
• Perform minor CNC program edits as required
• Track machine performance for quality and throughput
• Support machine attendants and new operators on the floor
• Identify/report tooling, machine, and quality issues early
• Use precision measurement to verify dimensions/specs
• Keep documentation accurate and the work area safe and clean

What it takes

• Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes
• Strong mechanical aptitude; effective troubleshooting
• Proficiency with basic inspection tools
• Minor programming familiarity preferred, not required
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions
• Reliable attendance and a steady work rhythm
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to wear a respirator when needed (must be clean shaven for compliance)

Pay, shift, and schedule

• $23.00 – $27.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
• 1st Shift, Monday – Friday
• Choose: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
