CNC PRESS BRAKE PROGRAMMER / OPERATOR

Build Something Different Every Day

Dimensional Innovations is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Programmer / Operator to join our Metal Fabrication team. This is not a repetitive production role. Our team fabricates custom parts and assemblies for unique projects across the country, requiring a skilled professional who can independently program, set up, and operate CNC press brakes for one-off and low-volume work.

If your experience is primarily running pre-programmed production parts, this position may not be the right fit. We are looking for someone who can read a print, determine bend sequences, select tooling, create or modify programs, and troubleshoot forming challenges independently.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC press brake equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication specifications
  • Develop bend sequences and determine the most efficient forming methods
  • Select appropriate tooling based on material type, thickness, and bend requirements
  • Create and modify machine programs for custom fabricated parts
  • Perform first-piece inspections and verify dimensional accuracy
  • Troubleshoot forming, tooling, and setup issues
  • Maintain quality standards while meeting production schedules
  • Assist with other fabrication activities as needed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORRequired Qualifications

  • Experience programming and operating CNC press brakes
  • Ability to create or modify programs from blueprints and part drawings
  • Strong understanding of bend allowances, bend deductions, bend sequences, and tooling selection
  • Ability to independently set up and run new jobs with minimal supervision
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, tape measures, and other inspection tools
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a custom fabrication, job shop, or prototype environment
  • Experience forming aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and other materials
  • Additional fabrication experience including welding, machining, assembly, or metal finishing
  • Experience with CNC press brake controls and offline programming software

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENTAt Dimensional Innovations, you won't spend your day making the same part over and over again. Our work supports custom projects for brands, sports venues, museums, attractions, and public spaces throughout the country.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys:

  • Solving fabrication challenges
  • Working on unique projects
  • Programming and setting up new jobs
  • Taking ownership of quality and craftsmanship
  • Working in a highly collaborative fabrication environment

SCHEDULE

  • Monday - Friday
  • 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, moving equipment, and varying conditions
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

BENEFITS

  • 401(k) with company match
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Paid parental leave
  • Monthly team lunches
  • Employee recognition and referral programs
