Job Description

The CNC Operator is responsible for turning CAD files into poly lines, geometric shapes, and machine programming. The cutting of parts for all departments is also a key responsibility in this area. seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for the daily setup and operation of fiber laser cutting machines used in the production of sheet metal and busbar components for switchgear and power distribution equipment.

Job Requirements

  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements
  • Follow direction via cut-lists and supervisor request
  • Conduct minor repairs, as well as daily, weekly, monthly and yearly maintenance
  • Cutting structural shapes
  • Loading/unloading trucks using telehandler
  • Monitor parts usage and report on any material issues
  • Use power tools and hand tools
  • Understand and participate in the Quality Control Prog

Pay-Rate Ranges: $18.50/HR- $85.00/HR
