CNC Operator:
We are looking for a CNC Operator with a minimum of 3+ years experience, to operate a Thermwood 3-axis router at our Canandaigua building. The successful candidate will be required to set-up, cut, and label materials according to the production schedule. The operator will be expected to monitor quality, effectively communicate, and  troubleshoot processes.

Requirements:
  • Ability to machine all types of materials (aluminum, mdf, plywood, plastics)
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and measuring devices
  • Ability to perform quality checks on product
  • Proficient in CNC Machine operations: vacuum pumps, dust collection, machine interfaces, monitoring, tracking, and labeling cut lists
  • Ability to organize, label, and monitor inventory levels
  • Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with various teams
  • Must be reliable with a strong work ethic to work independently to meet deadlines
  • Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
Applicants must have a good work ethic and be willing to occasionally work overtime. 8+ hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Some weekends may be worked if overtime is needed. Fluent in English and Spanish would be a plus!
