Description
Knowledge | Experience | Skills:
High school diploma or GED. Requires trade school and/or 6+ years' mold making and machining experience. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer experience.
Preferred knowledge and skills:
- Experience programming in Cimmatron or equivalent CAD/CAM software.
- Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controls.
- Experience milling hardened tool steels.
- Experience with 5 axis machining is desired but not required.
- Capable of holding tight tolerances on injection mold components.
- Capable of programming and machining complex 3D surfaces.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for programming CNC Mill for machining new jobs and repair work.
- Responsible for setting up CNC Mill after programming.
- Remove finished components and install new components for machining.
- Responsible for quality and accuracy of machined parts.
- Must complete job assignments in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to company safety standards.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment and assisting in machine maintenance as needed.
- Disassemble, clean, and assist in assembly when required.
- Other duties may be required due to shop load.
