We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist for a first shift role in Winter Park, FL.
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines (3, 4, or 5 axis).
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Select tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job.
- Monitor machine operations for quality and efficiency.
- Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools.
- Make offsets and program adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols.
Qualifications include 2+ years of CNC milling experience, blueprint reading, proficiency with measuring instruments, and knowledge of G-code. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently are essential.
Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing repetitive tasks with precision.
Pay rate ranges from $20 to $26 per hour, based on experience, with consistent weekday hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. This role offers potential for transition from temporary to full-time employment.
