Job Summary
We are seeking a CNC Mill Machinist - Entry Level/Shop Assistant (Entry Level) to join our team. As a CNC Mill Machinist - Entry Level/Shop Assistant (Entry Level), you will be responsible for various needs around the factory, including:
material receiving (forklift proficiency required)
saw operation
foam pack operation
warehouse picking and packing; and
other functions as needed
You will also be responsible for and/or be trained to do the following machinist functions:
loading and unloading parts
maintaining your machine (air, oil, coolant) and keeping it clean in between jobs; and
managing your chip bins.
Qualifications
Current or previous forklift certification
Experience in a machining/factory environment
Strong communicator
Able to follow direction
Excellent attention to detail
Strong analytical skills
*Due to the nature of our work, you must have a clean criminal record (no felonies and you must disclose the nature of any prior misdemeanors) and submit to pre-employment and random drug screening
Note: This would be an excellent position for a recent graduate of a machining trade school program.
