Job Description

Amotec is currently recruiting for multiple CNC Mill and Lathe Operators in the Mentor, Ohio area. Our client is a leader in the defense manufacturing area. These positions allow for additional training and advancement.

Responsibilities:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints/job orders including an understanding of dimensions, tolerances, and number of parts to be machined
Able to work to precise tolerances
Verify conformance of sample parts to specifications, using preset gauges, micrometers and dial indicators. Use Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques
Adjust machine controls and settings to keep dimensions within specified tolerances
Instruct and assist other workers as necessary
Such other machining and operating duties as requested

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
CNC Certification preferred
1 or more years’ experience

Additional Information:

All Shifts:1st, 2nd, and 3rd
OT Required as needed
$17-20/hr depending on experience
