The Manufacturing Engineer will support and improve high‑precision machining operations by developing processes, solving production challenges, and driving continuous improvement. DescriptionThe Manufacturing Engineer will report directly into the Director of Engineering and be responsible for:Develop, maintain, and improve work instructions to ensure repeatable, standardized manufacturing processes.Analyze components and processes to improve quality, efficiency, and cost.Identify technical or process-related issues and implement practical, sustainable solutions.Act as the technical point of contact for assigned customers or product lines.Provide design‑for‑manufacturability feedback to customers and internal stakeholders.Define and optimize manufacturing methods for new and existing products.Review drawings for manufacturability and apply GD&T best practices.Understand inspection and testing requirements; identify risks and develop inspection strategies.Support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions related to process or product issues.Assess new equipment, automation, inspection tools, and machining technologies.Apply project management principles to ensure tooling, fixtures, gauges, equipment, routings, programs, and documentation are properly defined and implemented. Proficiency with SolidWorks or comparable CAD software.Strong ability to read complex technical drawings and understand design intent.Working knowledge of GD&T and dimensional analysis.Experience with manufacturing inspection processes and measurement tools.Prior experience supporting production teams on the shop floor.Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑mix manufacturing environment.
