Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop Production Supervisors, CNC Programmers, Machinists, and Production Associates.
- Foster a culture focused on safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee daily machine shop operations, ensuring efficient and high-quality production.
- Monitor and improve KPIs related to quality, delivery, productivity, safety, and equipment utilization.
- Balance production schedules, staffing, and resources to meet customer demand.
- Support new product introductions and manufacturing readiness initiatives.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Operations teams to resolve production challenges.
- Lead capital equipment planning, justification, and implementation initiatives.
- Drive process improvements and support long-term operational growth.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably within a CNC machine shop environment.
- Hands-on experience with CNC milling machines, lathes, and precision machining operations.
- Proven leadership experience within a contract manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing supervisors, programmers, machinists, and production teams.
- Demonstrated success leading CAPEX and equipment investment projects.
- Strong operational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
