Our client is seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machinery and related facility equipment. The role requires mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic expertise and focuses on minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on CNC machines and plant equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures
- Assist with machine installation, relocation, leveling, alignment, and calibration
- Read technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
- Maintain service records and maintenance logs
- Monitor spare-parts inventory
- Follow lockout/tagout, PPE, and electrical-safety procedures
- Support machine operators, production, and engineering teams
- Perform general facility maintenance
- Support lean manufacturing and equipment-improvement projects
Requirements
- At least five years of CNC maintenance experience in a manufacturing or machine-shop environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
- Experience with multimeters, 480V three-phase systems, VFDs, and PLCs
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge
- Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, or similar machine controls
- Ability to interpret technical documents and schematics
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- Industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or mechanical certification
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy objects, climb, crouch, and work in varied physical conditions
Compensation
$36.00-$47.00 per hour.
