A bit about us:

This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines and related manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and plays a key role in minimizing downtime through preventive and corrective maintenance.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on CNC and other production equipment
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on CNC machinery in accordance with established maintenance plans
Diagnose and support CNC control systems such as Fanuc, Mazak, Okuma, and similar platforms
Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical drawings to identify equipment faults
Respond to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns to restore equipment operation quickly
Support machine inspections, calibrations, and accuracy checks to maintain production quality
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and capital projects
Identify, research, and coordinate replacement parts and materials as needed
Work collaboratively with production and engineering to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
Document maintenance activity accurately within the CMMS
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements at all times

Additional Expectations:
Support lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and reliability initiatives
Complete required technical and safety training as assigned
Assist with special projects and other maintenance-related duties as needed
May occasionally travel locally to retrieve equipment, tooling, or parts from vendors
Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety regulations

Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience in CNC or industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of CNC lathes, mills, and grinders
Experience troubleshooting electrical systems and PLC-controlled equipment
Proficiency with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Familiarity with CMMS platforms for maintenance tracking
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Background in aerospace, precision machining, or similar high‑tolerance manufacturing environments preferred
Exposure to lean manufacturing or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) concepts
Basic computer skills within a Windows-based environment
Safety-focused with strong attention to detail
