- Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, or drills per job specifications and work orders. Load and secure raw materials and tools in machines for optimal performance.
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure precise tolerances and compliance with specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code programs accurately.
- Perform minor program edits and make necessary tool changes. Monitor machine performance, identify issues, and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning. Report mechanical or operational issues promptly to the supervisor.
- Must have high school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification in machining preferred.
- Must have 1-3 years of experience in CNC machining or a related manufacturing role.
- Must have strong understanding of blueprint reading, G-code interpretation, and CNC control operation
- Must have familiarity with precision measuring instruments and inspection tools.
- Must have experience with multiple-axis CNC machines
