Seeking a Machinist for the Turning (Lathe) Department in a precision contract machining business. This 2nd shift role involves setting up and operating CNC machines, primarily Mazak lathes, to produce high-quality components in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, programming with Mazatrol, maintaining equipment, and ensuring parts meet specifications. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with 5+ years of experience preferred, particularly in a job shop setting. Skills in inspecting own work, troubleshooting, and working with close tolerances are required. The schedule is Monday-Thursday, 4:15 pm - 2:45 am, with optional OT on Fridays.
