Job Details

Operate and set up production machining equipment to support manufacturing activities.
Choose and install the proper tooling required for each machining operation.
Establish appropriate feeds and speeds to ensure efficient and accurate machining.
Carry out machining processes such as cutting, trimming, countersinking, drilling, and similar operations.
Check part dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand machining specifications and requirements.
Apply shop math to perform calculations necessary for accurate machining and setup.
Upload and transfer computer programs to CNC controllers to begin machining processes.
Observe machine performance during operation and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on machines to keep equipment operating properly.
Follow established safety procedures to help maintain a safe work environment.
Work with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and targets.
Identify and report any concerns related to machine operation or product quality.
Keep detailed records of machining activities, including production logs and inspection documentation.
Stay informed on new machining methods, tools, and industry developments.
Manage assigned work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Inspect completed components to ensure they meet required quality standards.
Notify supervisors or appropriate personnel if defects or deviations are discovered.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly after use.
Consistently follow all company safety rules, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
