Required Qualifications
3+ years of CNC machining experience.
Hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
Experience making basic G-code modifications.
Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T.
Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, nuclear, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, ISO, or similar quality systems.
Experience with plasma cutting, welding, and additive manufacturing (3D printing).
Lean Manufacturing and 5S experience.
Experience supporting first article inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and work for extended periods.
Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE.
Willingness to work occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays as business needs require.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and adjust CNC mills and lathes using existing G-code programs.
Perform machine setup, tooling changes, and production changeovers.
Operate plasma cutters, welding equipment, and 3D printers to support fabrication and assembly activities.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
Perform precision inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other metrology equipment.
Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Complete production documentation, inspection records, and manufacturing paperwork accurately.
Follow cGMP, SOPs, and safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and R&D teams to ensure production goals are achieved.
