Job Description
Talento Search Group has an opening for a CNC Machinist in the Rockford, Illinois area. This is a direct-hire position on 1st shift.
Job Highlights:
Pay: $26-$32 per hour
Shift: 7am-3:30pm; 1st shift position, typically no weekends
Overtime may be available
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Setup and operation of CNC machining centers
- Edit, proof and verify quality of work
- Meet daily production goals
- Maintain proper inventory of hand tools and inspection equipment
- Record product and processing data
- Wear PPE as needed
Experience Needed:
- Around 10 years of CNC machining experience is preferred
- Experience performing changeovers and changing tooling
- Basic math skills
- Ability to produce parts with tight tolerances
- Experience with Fanuc Controls
- Associates Degree in Machine Shop Technology is beneficial
