Our client is looking for a CNC machinist to join their team in Painesville, Ohio. Our client produces a wide range of precision machined components for a wide variety of industries.
The CNC machinist would be responsible for setting up CNC machines from blueprints, specifications, and job lay outs.
Qualified candidates would have experience with setting up CNC machines, Fanuc M & G codes, reading blueprints, and in-depth knowledge of GD&T.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up new and repeat jobs efficiently
- Create program at the machine and produce parts to blue prints
- Submit and achieve first article approval
- Achieve machine rate
- Ensure part process is stable and ready for operator
- Operate machines while monitoring and maintaining part quality
- Change used rolling and make machine offsets.
Job Requirements
- Experience with setting up CNC machines
- Experience with programming CNC machines
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Understanding and use of inspection equipment
