We are partnering with a well-established, specialized equipment company in NW Houston to hire an experienced CNC Machinist. This organization focuses on providing high-quality industrial equipment, parts, and repair services, and has built a strong reputation for reliability and long-term client relationships.

This is a hands-on role working with both manual and CNC machines, ideal for someone who can program, set up, and run their own jobs from print to finished part.

You’ll be joining a smaller, close-knit team where employees are valued, supported, and tend to stay long-term.

Responsibilities
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes
  • Operate manual machining equipment as needed
  • Work on equipment including Haas VF-5 (vertical mill) and Weiler lathe
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Set tooling, offsets, and adjust machines for optimal performance
  • Produce precision parts while maintaining tight tolerances
  • Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, or program issues

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of CNC machining experience
  • Experience programming and operating both CNC mills and lathes
  • Experience operating manual machines
  • Strong blueprint reading skills
  • Experience with machine setup and adjustments
  • Strong attention to detail and precision
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to work independently
  • Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
  • Technical certification in machining or related field is a plus

Schedule
  • Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Fridays may be shorter depending on workload
  • Saturdays as needed

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience (open above current operator range of $33–34/hr)
  • 401(k) with 4% match
