Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Machinist I to join a precision aerospace manufacturing team in Claremore, OK. This is an excellent opportunity for machinists looking to grow their hands-on CNC experience in a high-precision, quality-driven environment.

As a CNC Machinist I, you'll support production by operating CNC equipment, assisting with setups, inspecting finished parts, and helping maintain production goals tied to Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Attitude (QCDSA).

Key Responsibilities
• Operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineered drawings, and work instructions
• Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools
• Monitor machining operations and make minor machine adjustments to maintain tolerances
• Verify setups using operation sheets, parameters, and setup documentation
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and production problem-solving
• Deburr and finish parts to required tolerances and surface quality standards
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records in accordance with AS9100 standards
• Follow all safety procedures and aerospace quality standards
• Perform routine machine cleaning and minor maintenance tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Demonstrate basic understanding of G-code programming and CNC controls

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED
1-5 years of machining or manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring equipment
• Basic understanding of AS9100 aerospace quality standards
• Technical or vocational CNC training preferred
• Familiarity with CAD, CAM, MRP, and ERP systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to comply with OSHA, ITAR, FAA, and AS9100 requirements
• Ability to obtain internal certifications such as forklift or crane certification
