CNC Machinist I

We’re looking for a CNC Machinist I to join our team. Responsibilities include loading materials, operating CNC machines, inspecting parts with precision tools, and performing routine maintenance. Must be able to read technical drawings and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and teamwork required. Having your own tools and toolboxes is a plus but not required.

Skills needed for a CNC Machinist I role:

• Basic understanding of CNC machine operation (mills/lathes)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints
• Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges)
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols
• Good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes or machines

Optional “plus” skills list (not required, but nice to have):

• Experience with G-code and CNC programming edits
• Prior experience in a machining/manufacturing environment
• Ability to set up CNC machines in addition to operating them
• Owning personal tools and toolboxes
