Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
- Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work completed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with a strong understanding of CNC programming.
- Proficiency in operating CNC lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a machining environment.
