Blueprints, CAD/CAM (Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing), CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) Systems, CNC Milling Machine, Calibration, Equipment Maintenance/Repair, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, Identify Issues, Machine Tool, Machining, Machining Operations, Process Improvement, Technical Drawing
Duties:
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines.
- Create, edit, and troubleshoot G-Code programs directly at the machine or via CAM software.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Select appropriate tooling and ensure proper machine calibration.
- Perform first-piece inspections and maintain tight tolerances throughout production.
- Monitor machining operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Conduct routine maintenance and report any machine issues.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve processes.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of CNC milling experience, including G-Code programming.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.).
- Proficient in reading blueprints and GD&T.
