Are you a seasoned CNC Machinist with a knack for precision and a keen eye for detail? We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This full-time permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, utilizing state-of-the-art machinery in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. As a CNC Machinist, you will be a vital part of our team, creating high-quality, precision parts and components that are integral to our product line and essential to our company's success.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines to perform precision machining operations, ensuring tight tolerances are consistently met.
  • Interpret complex blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine the best method and sequence of operations.
  • Use precision measurement tools to inspect and verify the dimensions of parts, ensuring they meet exact specifications.
  • Perform grinding operations to achieve desired dimensions and surface finish.
  • Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job, calculating and setting controls to regulate various machining factors.
  • Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance and quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and tooling, performing routine maintenance as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to a safe and efficient production environment.
  • Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and other team members to optimize productivity and improve manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, specifically with 5-axis machines.
  • Proficient in precision machining, with a strong understanding of tight tolerances and the use of precision measurement tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications.
  • Experience with grinding operations and the selection and installation of tooling and fixtures.
  • Solid understanding of CNC machine setup and operation, with the ability to calculate and set controls for a variety of machining factors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and tooling.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality, precision parts and components.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
  • Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
