Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Nashua, NH to bring on a CNC Machinists for 2nd shift. This is an urgent need, and the team is looking for experienced machinists who are comfortable with multiple machine setups per shift and working in a fast-paced environment.
Position: CNC Machinist
Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay: $27.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience
Duties / Responsibilities
• Set up and run CNC milling and/or CNC lathe machines to meet tight manufacturing requirements
• Perform multiple machine setups per shift on CNC equipment, including Haas machines
• Prepare CAM files from CAD models, prints, and verbal instructions
• Ensure quick turnaround of parts while maintaining accuracy and quality standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and job documentation
• Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, height gauges, and protractors
• Make sound decisions related to part quality and acceptability
• Maintain organization of jobs, tooling, and material inventory
• Perform routine cleaning and general maintenance on machines and shop equipment
• Complete operator preventative maintenance during the shift
• Follow all quality, safety, and production procedures
• Escalate issues to shift lead or supervisor as needed
• Support daily production by identifying solutions to recurring issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of experience as a CNC milling or CNC lathe machinist preferred
• Experience with machine setup and basic programming required
• Experience with Mastercam strongly preferred
• Experience with Haas machines preferred
• Candidates coming from precision manufacturing programs (such as NCC) encouraged to apply
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
• Working knowledge of CNC machining in a prototype or manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software including Mastercam and SolidWorks
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret geometric tolerances
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to manage time and prioritize work effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
• Commitment to continuous learning and process improvement
