Lead Our CNC Machining Cell

Picture the start of your day at 5:00 AM: you walk the floor, scan the job travelers, and stage work across vertical CNC mills, Haas machining centers, lathes, and saws. You line up priorities, match the right operator to the right job, and ensure first-piece inspections are signed off before production ramps. As the CNC Machining Cell Supervisor, you are the on-the-floor leader who blends technical know‑how with people leadership to keep quality high and throughput on schedule.

What You’ll Drive

• Oversee daily operations for CNC mills (vertical preferred), Haas machines, CNC machining centers, lathes, and saws
• Distribute work, sequence priorities, and balance workloads to hit production targets
• Coach, mentor, and review machine operators; conduct formal performance evaluations
• Verify setups, review programs, adjust tooling, and complete/document first‑piece inspections
• Monitor output and quality; diagnose machining/process problems and implement corrective actions
• Read/interpret blueprints, CAD/CAM outputs, and job travelers; confirm dimensions and tolerances
• Champion safety, housekeeping, and lockout/tagout practices
• Coordinate PMs and minor equipment fixes; escalate major service needs quickly
• Track and report OEE, scrap, and throughput; lead 5S and Kaizen initiatives
• Manage tooling, inserts, fixtures, and consumables; initiate purchase requests as needed
• Maintain accurate setup records, tool offsets, program revisions, and machine logs

What You Bring

• 3–5+ years operating CNC equipment: vertical mills, Haas platforms, lathes, and saws
• 1–2+ years in a lead or supervisory capacity within CNC/manufacturing
• Fluency with blueprints, GD&T, and metrology (calipers, micrometers; CMM familiarity is a plus)
• Hands-on exposure to CAD/CAM and basic CNC programming, including G‑code
• Proven troubleshooting skills for machining processes and tooling

• Pay Range: 100k/year
• Shift: 1st
• Hours: 5am–1:30pm
