CNC Operator

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to manufacture precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Load tooling and materials while monitoring machine performance throughout production.
• Perform first article and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Make tool wear offsets and minor machine adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Verify finished parts meet dimensional and quality requirements.
• Troubleshoot basic machining issues and communicate production concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company safety procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC machining or CNC operator experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, or both.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
