Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Lathe Set-Up and Programmer position include:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathe machines, specifically Doosan LYNX2100LSYB
- Must be proficient in programming at the machine, with knowledge of live tooling and the ability to work with MasterCam or CAD-based programs
- Responsible for full job-specific set-up, tooling adjustments, and machine inspections to ensure production readiness
- Read and interpret complex blueprints and CNC programs to maintain high precision standards
- Utilize dial calipers, indicators, and all types of micrometers for part inspection and verification
- Troubleshoot machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance cycle times and achieve “drop complete” manufacturing
- Maintain accurate records for tool wear, offsets, and geometry changes, and ensure safe and clean work practices
- Collaborate with leads and supervisors to optimize workflow and ensure machines can run unattended during shifts
Salary: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
