CNC Lathe Operator
Pay Rate: Up to $25/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join a precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate CNC lathe machines to transform resin castings into high-quality finished products. This position is ideal for someone with strong machining skills, attention to detail, and experience working in a fast-paced job shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate one or more CNC lathe machines to produce parts to specification
- Load materials, set up tools, and start/stop machines as needed
- Read and interpret job travelers, blueprints, and manufacturing drawings
- Inspect parts using measuring tools such as micrometers, comparators, and gauges
- Ensure parts meet quality standards and specifications
- Perform routine machine maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, minor adjustments)
- Remove and manage scrap materials and maintain proper identification of parts
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Follow all Quality Management System (QMS) procedures
- Support team needs and perform additional duties as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CNC lathe experience in a job shop environment
- Ability to operate multi-axis CNC machines
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Experience using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, indicators, verniers, CMM, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
