What You’ll Tackle

  • Set up and operate CNC equipment within specified tolerances per programs, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Perform complex, progressive machining on various metals requiring very close tolerances.
  • Replace dull tooling; apply minor offsets/adjustments for tool wear.
  • Use gauges and metrology tools to verify dimensions and interpret results; meet OOQ standards.
  • Complete daily checks and follow the preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Carry out hand finishing operations to meet final spec.
  • Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards accurately.
  • Comply with safety best practices; report Safety, Health & Environmental issues promptly.
  • Meet productivity targets; suggest ideas to improve throughput and efficiency.
  • Log all activities promptly in the job tracking system.
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Escalate issues to the Team Leader/Supervisor and participate in problem‑solving.
  • Maintain 5S/housekeeping standards.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Must‑Haves

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience

Nice‑to‑Haves

  • Associate’s degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship
  • Experience working in a production environment
  • GCSE/NVQ Math and English (UK only)

Physical Demands & Travel

  • Standing and walking are required; frequent use of hands and arms; talking/hearing.
  • Periods of sitting; climbing/balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
  • Occasional lifting/moving up to 50 lbs.
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and the ability to adjust focus.
