We’re working with a highly respected aerospace and superalloy manufacturing company in the Cincinnati area that is looking to add a strong CNC Machinist/Programmer to their team. This is a clean, well-run shop environment producing tight-tolerance components for high-performance applications. Job Details

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC grinding and 5 axis milling equipment
Edit and optimize programs including use of macro commands and advanced machine functions
Machine precision components to tight tolerances and surface finish requirements
Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
Perform tooling adjustments, offsets, and in process inspections
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to improve efficiency and quality
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to cycle times and setup reduction
Maintain quality and production standards in a precision manufacturing environment

Qualifications

Strong experience with CNC grinding and/or high precision machining
5 axis milling experience required
Experience using macro commands and advanced CNC programming functions
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
Strong understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and precision inspection equipment
Experience machining complex materials and tight tolerance components preferred
Background in aerospace, medical, defense, or high precision manufacturing environments is a plus
