What you’ll impact
- Set up, load, and run CNC mills, lathes, and multitasking equipment
- Monitor multiple machines during production to maintain flow and efficiency
- Load and tweak programs to preserve part quality and takt time
- Measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges to confirm specs
- Conduct in-process checks to meet blueprint requirements
- Diagnose small issues; report significant malfunctions to maintenance or supervisors
- Maintain coolant, check tooling condition, and keep machines/area clean
- Move raw material and finished parts between machines; manage loading and unloading
- Follow safety policies and company quality standards
- Document production activities, inspections, and deviations
Must-haves
- Experience as a CNC Operator or Machinist (preferred)
- Ability to read/interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of precision measurement and inspection methods
- Basic understanding of G-code or CNC controls (preferred but not required depending on level)
- High attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Comfort standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights
